What were its intentions? But my companion, my mother or grandmother or both The memory is getting hazy, but I remember what she told Stay still, for you are clearly loved by this crow And it stayed with me for quite some time, until we had to go I couldn't tell you what happened next, but it probably doesn't matter I guess that this is all that I was meant to remember I was struck by the vivid depth of this dream within a dream I had to write it, though I don't yet understand what it means

Dream Within A Dream was made over the course of one weekend in a huge burst of creativity. Some of the songs were totally new and others were abandoned projects which I finished. I still believe that this burst of creativity came from the dream I'd had a couple weeks before, detailed here:

I had a dream that I had a dream
And it was the most beautiful thing
Walking a path with family through such colorful trees
I found myself wondering, is this really Earth that I'm seeing?
